We manufacture window wells and covers at our own plant in Calgary and ship anywhere in Canada. This page explains what shipping costs, how long it takes, and what to expect on delivery day.
One shipping charge per order
Shipping is charged once per order, not per item. Because wells nest inside one another on the truck, ordering several sizes together costs you no more to ship than ordering one. If you are doing a whole house or a job site, order it in a single checkout.

Window wells and covers are oversized steel products that travel as freight rather than parcel. The rates above reflect what it genuinely costs to move them, including delivery to a residential address with a liftgate truck.

Orders are usually ready within 24 hours. We will email you when yours is ready — please bring your order confirmation. Wells and covers are large and awkward, so bring a truck or trailer and a second set of hands.
Processing and lead times
- Galvanized stock sizes ship in 1–2 business days.
- Gloss black powder coat takes 1–2 weeks, because each piece is coated to order.
- Custom sizes are quoted individually — contact us.
Processing time is separate from transit time. Your total wait is the processing time plus the transit estimate below.

These are estimates, not guarantees. Freight carriers are affected by weather, road closures and seasonal volume, and remote destinations can take longer.
What to expect on delivery day
Freight delivery is not the same as a parcel courier. Please plan for the following:
- The carrier will call to arrange a delivery window. Make sure the phone number on your order is one you will answer.
- Someone must be there to receive and sign for the shipment. Carriers will not leave freight unattended, and a missed appointment usually means a redelivery fee.
- Delivery is curbside. The driver will lower your order to the ground at the end of your driveway using a liftgate. They will not carry it into a yard, around a house or into a garage.
- Have help ready. A large well is bulky and has sharp edges — plan on two people and a pair of gloves to move it from the curb.
Inspect your delivery before you sign
This matters, and it only takes a minute:
- Look the item over for dents, crushing or bent flanges before the driver leaves;
- Write any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign it;
- Photograph the item and its packaging;
- Contact us within 48 hours.
Freight carriers routinely deny claims for damage that was not recorded at delivery, so noting it protects you. If your order arrives damaged, we will repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. See our Return Policy for full details.
Where we ship
We ship to every province and territory in Canada. We do not currently ship outside Canada.
Deliveries to remote communities, islands and locations without year-round road access may take longer and can require additional freight charges. If that applies to you, contact us before ordering and we will confirm the cost.
Incorrect addresses
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Freight redirected after dispatch because of an incorrect or incomplete address will incur a carrier reconsignment fee, which is passed on to the customer.
