A 20-gauge G-90 galvanized steel window well: 36″ wide along the foundation wall, projecting 12″ out from it, 12″ from grade down to the base.
The shallowest well we make — a light well for basement windows that are close to grade, not a bedroom exit. The curved corrugated profile carries the load, the top edge is folded into a reinforced safety lip, and the 2″ side flanges are pre-punched for the foundation.
Egress
At 12″ this well does not meet the 760 mm clearance the National Building Code requires in front of a bedroom egress window. For a bedroom, order a 30″ projection.
Finish
Ships galvanized in 1–2 business days. Gloss black powder coating adds 1–2 weeks to completion.
