A 20-gauge G-90 galvanized steel window well: 36″ wide along the foundation wall, projecting 24″ out from it, 22″ from grade down to the base.
The 24″ projection sits between a light well and an egress well: more room to work than 22″, short of what a bedroom exit needs. At 22″ deep it suits a foundation wall backfilled part of the way up. The curved corrugated profile carries the backfill, the top edge is folded into a reinforced safety lip, and the 2″ side flanges are pre-punched for the foundation.
Egress
At 24″ (610 mm) this well does not meet the 760 mm clearance the National Building Code requires in front of a bedroom egress window. For a bedroom, order a 30″ or 36″ projection.
Finish
Ships galvanized in 1–2 business days. Gloss black powder coating adds 1–2 weeks to completion.
