A 20-gauge G-90 galvanized steel window well: 54″ wide along the foundation wall, projecting 36″ out from it, 22″ from grade down to the base.
The 36″ projection is the deepest we roll — six inches more standing room in front of the window than the 30″ well. At 22″ deep it suits a foundation wall backfilled part of the way up. The curved corrugated profile carries the backfill, the top edge is folded into a reinforced safety lip, and the 2″ side flanges are pre-punched for the foundation.
Egress
The 36″ projection is 914 mm, clearing the 760 mm of space the National Building Code requires in front of a bedroom egress window (NBC 9.9.10.1). Check the window opening itself and your municipality's amendments before ordering.
Finish
Ships galvanized in 1–2 business days. Gloss black powder coating adds 1–2 weeks to completion.
