49″W X 22″P X 12″H Galvanized Steel Window Well

A 20-gauge G-90 galvanized steel window well: 49″ wide along the foundation wall, projecting 22″ out from it, 12″ from grade down to the base.

At 49″ it is the half-inch-over-four-feet size — the one to order when a 48″ well leaves nothing to spare on either side of the opening. At 12″ deep it is a light well, for a window sitting close to grade. The curved corrugated profile carries the backfill, the top edge is folded into a reinforced safety lip, and the 2″ side flanges are pre-punched for the foundation.

Egress

At 22″ (559 mm) this well does not meet the 760 mm clearance the National Building Code requires in front of a bedroom egress window. For a bedroom, order a 30″ or 36″ projection.

Finish

Ships galvanized in 1–2 business days. Gloss black powder coating adds 1–2 weeks to completion.
